CAIRO, (PIC)– Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to leave for the Egyptian resort of Sharm Al-Sheikh next week to meet with Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak and discuss with him the peace process.

The Hebrew radio said that Mubarak agreed with Netanyahu to hold a bilateral meeting next Monday to discus the resumption of negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians.

This visit will take place in the wake of a telephone call made by Mubarak to his Israeli counterpart Shimon Peres to congratulate him on the 62nd anniversary of Israel’s occupation of Palestine and its establishment in 1948.
